Nasi Beriyani

Let me introduce you, this is Nasi Beriyani, a special cook rice..... it's my fav... probably most people favs too... Mind you, I lived in a multi racial country where we have Malay, Chinese, Indians and others (about 30 more races) living in the same place....

Well Nasi Beriyani is an Indian's food.... very famous in Northern States of Malaysia (Penang, Kedah and Perlis are known as Northern States) .

We usually have Nasi Beriyani dor lunch or dinner.... but do remember if you are on diet.... you might not want to eat too much... it's high colestrol food.... but once's you try it you want it again and again.... hehe ....

I forgot to mention Nasi actually means rice.... Beriyani I have no idea what it means... probably just a name....

Village Mall

That is Village Mall, the latest shopping mall in Sungai Petani.... I remembered 14 years ago when my family moved to Sungai Petani..... a city girl suddently have to move to 'Kampung' (village)... no shopping mall to hang out.... ouch... really upset at that time.... but now , we have two shopping malls, two hypermarkets and a few more supermarket... I don't really count all of them.... and keeps growing more....hmm.

Actually I went to Tesco, it's opposite Village Mall..... went there to buy milk... hehe

Morning Assembly

This is the normal view for school children in Malaysia.... I remember when I was a kid, I used to line up like these kids too... I guess it make me remember the good old days.... ( I sounded like I'm an 80 years old grandma....hahah)
